Couldn’t I start a group like this myself?
You could. You’d need six or seven part-time agents at your brokerage, in your market, whose free hours cover your busy ones. Then you’d vet them, write the agreements and keep everyone showing up. Finding the right people is the hard part. That’s my job.
How much does it cost?
Nothing to join and no monthly fee. If you’re in my eXp organization, your seat is included. Other eXp agents pay $[X] per closing, capped at [N] closings a year.
How does Mike get paid?
Only when you close. When agents in my eXp organization close, eXp pays me revenue share. Agents outside my organization pay the flat closing fee. If you don’t close, I don’t get paid, so I’m on your side.
Do I have to be with eXp?
Yes. Agency rules keep showing coverage inside one brokerage, so every member is with eXp Realty. If you’re somewhere else now, I’ll walk you through what the move looks like on your fit call.
What if I’m happy at my current brokerage?
Then the Alliance isn’t the right fit right now, and that’s fine. Apply whenever that changes.
Who keeps the client?
The agent who brought them in. Every member signs a non-solicit agreement, and covering a showing never changes who represents the client.
How does coverage get paid?
A flat fee or referral split your alliance agrees on before the first swap, paid through the brokerage. [FEE STRUCTURE]
How much time does it take?
One 45-minute call a week. Coverage is extra, and it’s always your choice.
Who runs the calls?
Every alliance follows the same agenda I built, and I’m on the calls while a new alliance gets going. I’ve been in real estate since 2001 and coaching agents full time since 2021.
I’m brand new. Can I join?
Yes, as long as you’re licensed. New agents get a lot out of the weekly call, and coverage starts after your first month, same as everyone else.
What if my alliance isn’t a good fit?
Tell me, and I’ll move you to a different alliance.
Is this a team?
No. There’s no team leader and no split of your commission. Every member runs their own business.
