For part-time real estate agents
Stay solo.
Get backup.
Backup for part-time agents. Free until you close.
The Part-Time Agent Alliance matches you with six to eight part-time eXp agents whose free hours cover your busy ones. They take your 3 o’clock showing while you’re at work. You take theirs on Saturday. One weekly call keeps everyone moving.
For agents with eXp Realty, or ready to join. Run by Mike Rohrig, in real estate since 2001.
- You, with a 9 to 5
- Parent, free school hours
- Nurse, rotating shifts
- Retiree, a few afternoons
Already at eXp?
You don’t move a thing.
Apply, take a 20-minute fit call and get a seat in an alliance near you. Coverage starts in month two.
At another brokerage?
We’ll talk through the move.
Agency rules keep coverage inside one brokerage, so every alliance runs at eXp. On your fit call I’ll walk you through what moving looks like, with no pressure.
The part-time trap
Buyers don’t wait until 5 o’clock.
A common theme comes up with the part-time agents I coach. A buyer texts at 1:45 asking to see a house at 3. You’re stuck at your other job until 5. By the time you call back, they’ve toured it with another agent, and that agent is writing their offer.
Every part-time agent shares the same blind spot: the middle of the workday. The fix is someone in your corner whose free hours line up with your busy ones.
The Alliance
Six to eight agents. Schedules that fit together.
I build every alliance on purpose. Put a nurse on rotating shifts, a retiree, a parent who’s free during school hours and an agent with a 9 to 5 in the same group, and every hour of the week has somebody available.
Fair question
You could build this yourself.
Plenty of part-time agents plan to. This is the work it takes.
- Find six or seven part-time agents at your brokerage, in your market.
- Match their schedules so every weekday hour has someone free.
- Vet each one, because you’re handing them your client.
- Write the coverage and non-solicit agreements.
- Keep everyone showing up, week after week.

Who runs this
I’m Mike Rohrig.
Every week I coach agents who know exactly what to do and can’t find the hours to do it. I started in this business in 2001 as an assistant, so I know what it’s like to build a career around someone else’s clock.
Since then I’ve worked solo, managed a boutique brokerage and run sales for a megateam. I’ve been a Principal Broker since 2005, a full-time coach since 2021, and I wrote Ready. Aim. ROAR! for agents who know what to do and still aren’t doing it.
Part-time agents are the most overlooked group in this business. I built the Alliance to give them the structure and backup full-time agents take for granted.
